BILLING AND PAYMENT PROCEDURE

 

The Municipal Drinking Water Service takes bi-monthly readings of the water meters and later sends out informative bills to those consumers for whom it has a postal address.

As the Benissa Town Council has delegated the collection of taxes and fees to   Gestión Tributaria, the billing made by the Municipal Water Service is sent to this organisation, which has established two payment periods:

1st Voluntary:                                  

From the first working day of March until the first Friday in May, for collecting payments of water consumption bills from  July to December of the previous year.

2nd Voluntary:

From the last Monday of July to the first Friday of October, for collecting payments of water consumption bills from  January to June of the current year.

Consumer Services

The Drinking Water Service of the Benissa City Council, through its Water Department, will respond to any claim, request to register for the service, changes of ownership and address, during regular office hours of 9.00 am to 2.00 pm from Monday to Friday. During non-working hours, a service has been established to attend to any contingency that may produce water losses or a cut in supply to consumers.

TOURS OF THE WATER SERVICE INSTALLATIONS

You can visit the installations of the Water Service, the tanks, wells and mills, etc.

The tours will take place by prior appointment on Saturday mornings for a minimum of 5 people and maximum of 10 visitors.
